Eligibility for funding - part one
Please note there is a limited funding pool available. The decision to award funding is at the discretion of the Beautification Trust and will be based on the merit of applications. Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee that you will receive a funding grant. There is a limit of one funding grant per group, per year.
Please read the following criteria carefully. ALL of the below criteria must be met to be eligible for funding.

The funding must be used in South Auckland, i.e. within the Local Board areas: Franklin, Papakura, Manurewa, Ōtara-Papatoetoe, Māngere-Ōtāhuhu or Howick.

The funding must be intended to be used between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2024

The applicant must represent ONE of the following:

School or ECE
-
Neighbourhood
-
Community Group
-
Youth Group
-
Marae
-
Workplace

The work undertaken in relation to the funding must be a volunteer effort. Funding is not available for costs like wages and contractors.

Once your funded project is finished, you agree to fill in a short accountability report and send it to the Beautification Trust along with a few photos of your project. Any receipts must accompany this report.
